As a director of architecture and construction for Optima, Inc. a fully integrated architect, developer and general contractor, Todd Kuhlman managed and directed the design, development and construction of homes, mixed-use projects and multi-family communities in Chicago and Scottsdale, Arizona since 1989.

After receiving his degree at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1990, his twenty year career was in the development of designs and directing of contractors, consultants and engineers on the award winning residences and mixed-use projects of David Hovey, FAIA published by Rizzoli International in 2004.

Kuhlman Structures incorporates these years of architectural, development and construction experience into the effective implementation and execution of an architectural vision and the creation of the next affordable green living system.
